My name is Michael Sioutis (Μιχαήλ Σιούτης in Greek) and, as of January 2020, I am a Research Fellow (Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter in German) at Otto-Friedrich-University Bamberg, and in particular at the Faculty of Information Systems and Applied Computer Sciences there.
Before moving to Germany, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Computer Science at Aalto University in Finland during 2019, and at the School of Science and Technology at Örebro University in Sweden from May 2017 to December 2018.
On 27 February 2017 I successfully defended my PhD Thesis, titled Algorithmic Contributions to Qualitative Constraint-based Spatial and Temporal Reasoning, and became a Doctor of Artois University in Computer Science. During my doctoral research I was advised by Professors Jean-François Condotta and Bertrand Mazure and Associate Professor Yakoub Salhi.
